This policy explains what personal data E.S.M.H Consulting FZE (“ESMH”, “we”, “us”) handles through this website, gantt.esmhconsulting.com, and through the ESMH Gantt Planner for Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (“the planner”).

In short: this website uses Google Analytics to see which pages are useful, with your consent where the law asks for it. The planner keeps your plan in your own file or your own Google account. We do not receive your plan data.

This website

  • The website uses Google Analytics, the same way as esmhconsulting.com. See Cookies and analytics below.
  • Apart from Google Analytics, it loads no scripts, fonts or other files from other companies.
  • Like most web servers, the server that hosts this site may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type. These logs are used only to run and protect the site.
  • When you follow a link to another site, such as Whop, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how this website is used. How it is switched on depends on where you are, because the law differs:

  • In the EU/EEA, the UK and other places that require prior consent (or if we cannot tell where you are): a banner asks first. If you click Decline, or simply ignore the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set.
  • Everywhere else (for example the UAE or the US): Google Analytics runs by default, and you can switch it off at any time.

We work out the region from your device’s time-zone setting. This happens entirely in your browser: there is no location lookup and nothing is sent to us. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage (entry esmh_consent) so we do not ask on every visit; in consent regions we ask again after 12 months. That entry stays on your device and is never sent to us.

When analytics is on, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and its parent company Google LLC, USA. It tells us which pages are visited, how visitors found the site (for example through search or a link), what kind of device they use, their approximate location (country or city), and whether someone followed a link to get a free version on Whop. We only look at aggregated reports to improve the site.

  • Cookies set: _ga and _ga_07QBV8Y5GE, which tell visitors and sessions apart. They expire after 2 years at most, or as soon as you switch analytics off.
  • IP addresses: Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
  • No advertising: Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off. We do not run ads or share this data for advertising.
  • Retention: event-level data is deleted automatically after 2 months.
  • Legal basis: in consent regions, your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for storing or reading information on your device, the applicable ePrivacy rules). Elsewhere, our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), with the right to switch it off at any time.

You can withdraw your consent or switch analytics off at any time, with effect for the future, through in the footer of every page.

The planner

The planner runs inside your own Excel workbook or your own copy of the Google Sheets version. Your plan data, such as tasks, dates, people, day rates and costs, stays in that file or in your Google account. We do not receive it.

  • Excel version. The planner runs as macros inside the workbook on your computer.
  • Google Sheets version. The script runs under your own Google account. It has permission only for the current spreadsheet and to show its windows. We have no access to your copy or to your Google account.
  • Reports and exports. The web status report, PDF and Excel copy are files you make and share yourself. We do not receive them.

Purchases and free sign-ups

We sell and deliver the planner through Whop (whop.com). This includes the free versions, which need a quick free sign-up with your email address. Whop processes your name, email address and payment details under its own privacy policy.

We do not see or store your full card details. Whop shares with us what we need to deliver the product and support you, such as your name, email address and what you signed up for or bought.

Email

If you email us, we use your email address and your message to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. If you ask to be told when Pro is available, we use your address only for that.

How long we keep data

We keep emails and purchase records for as long as we need them to support you and to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties. Then we delete them.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business, such as Whop, Google (for Google Analytics) and our email and hosting providers, or when the law requires it.

Where data is handled

We are based in the United Arab Emirates. Whop, Google and our email and hosting providers may handle data in other countries.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email gantt@esmhconsulting.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
